What is money transfer and what are the types of money transfer?
Ans: Money transfer is the process of sending or remitting cash from one location to another. Money transfer can be classified as follows:

What is bank transfer?
Ans: Sending money to a bank account is called bank transfer. FLASHremit is our instant bank transfer service through which you can transfer money to your beneficiary’s bank account in real time. We have tied up with over 100 banks across the world which helps us in seamlessly transferring the money to your beneficiary account.

Which banks have tied up with Unimoni?

Which mode of money transfer is better for me?
Ans: We offer various kinds of money transfer services – from instant to online to bank account - depending on your need, time availability, your location and receiver's location. Please contact our branch staff or our Customer Care team to know more.

What is Instant Money Transfer?
Ans: Sending money from one location to another in an instant is called Instant Money Transfer. For details on Instant Money Transfer and to send money instantly, log on to http://www.xpressmoney.com/.

What is Online Money Transfer?
Ans: Sending money electronically from one bank account to another is called online money transfer. We will be launching our online money transfer services in Uganda shortly.

 

What is an exchange rate?
Ans: The price at which the currency of a country can be exchanged for another country's currency is called exchange rate.

Where can I find the exchange rates?
Ans: For the prevailing exchange rates, please check our exchange rate calculator. We would like to inform you that rates displayed are indicative and subject to change. You can contact our branch staff or our Customer Care team for the latest exchange rates.

Are the exchange rates the same every day?
Ans: No, the exchange rates are dynamic and subject to change.

 

What is Unimoni?
Ans: Unimoni, short for Universal Money, is a financial services organisation that offers people and businesses a diversified range of financial services including money transfer and foreign exchange solutions, and much more across the globe.

I am already a registered customer. Do I need to register again with Unimoni?
Ans: If you are already a registered customer with us, you are not required to register again with Unimoni. We have all the details of our registered customers, and there are no changes expected under Unimoni.

Can I use my existing Gold Card or am I required to purchase a new Gold Card with Unimoni?
Ans: Your existing Gold Card is still valid with no changes to the current benefits and exclusive offers available on the card. However, please visit the nearest Unimoni branch in Uganda to replace your existing Gold Card with the Unimoni Gold Card at your convenience.

Will my past transaction records be available with Unimoni?
Ans: Yes. All your past transaction records are easily accessible and can be made available to you at your request. Will I get support for transactions conducted before Unimoni came into effect?
Ans: Yes. We assure you that we will address all your queries, even if they are related to transactions conducted prior to Unimoni. How can I know the status of my transaction?
Ans: Once you have completed your transaction, you will receive an SMS notification on your registered mobile number.

What is transaction fee?
Ans: Transaction fee is the commission we charge for offering our services to you.

How can I calculate the transaction fee?
